Parlor 1 floor pre wood repair and after the removal of numerous overlaid floor covering, carpet, and tar paper.
Typical damages to the original flooring, primarily from the School District years when all rooms were offices. Telephone and power were regularly needed and later Data. The first floor had holes cut to bring wires up from the basement and the upstairs needs were brought down through the ceiling in metal wire channels. Note, this particular damage required repairs to 4 runs of flooring.
Staggered removal of flooring around the original hole so that the repair would blend into the surrounding flooring.
There were 80 plus individual board floor repairs in Parlor 1 alone.
Area in front of Parlor 1 to Library - Sitting room doorway that was originally a window, previously had a HVAC vent in the center under the window. The HVAC had since been moved to the left when the door was added in place of the window to access the newly enclosed side porch. The patch was made in plywood, as other floor covering were used at that time by the School District.

Wood repairs were made using reclaimed original heart pine flooring.
An HVAC return hole was cut in by the School District when they placed both HVAC units downstairs. The return was removed and repairs to sub floor and flooring were made with reclaimed original heart pine flooring.

Brown Room after 2 of 3 coats of finished and after all overlaid floor covering was removed, divider wall was removed, repairs made to damaged sections and sanding.

Left Side porch - Home Office new clear pine tongue and groove flooring. Since this was originally an outside porch, clear pine tongue and groove flooring was used instead of heart pine in the other rooms.
